Chris Williams – Attorney

Education

I received by Bachelor of Science degree in Geographic Information Systems from Brigham Young University in April 2002. I also minored in Political Science. I studied Remote Sensing, Image processing, Land Use, Cartography and Data Analysis. In addition I took courses in: Russian, Philosophy, Formal Logic, Geography, and World Religions

Honors and Activities:

  • Russian Language Choir
  • University Half-Tuition Scholarship

I received my Juris Doctor degree Magna Cum Laude from Michigan State University College of Law in May 2008. I graduated in the top 20% of my class. I did intensive coursework in Family law, Matrimonial Practice, Pre-Trial Practice, Land Use, Administrative Law and Legislation, and Computer Law.

Honors and Activities:

  • Made the Dean’s List 5 time.
  • Recieved a Merit scholarship (2005-2008)
  • Was an associate on the MSU Journal of International Law (2006-2008)
  • Was accepted into the Research, Writing and Advocacy – Intellectual property class (2005)
  • Was Secretary of the J. Reuben Clark Law Society, and a member of the Federalist Society.
  • Earned WestLaw certification
